Oscar Kraus 1892-1983

Oscar Kraus was born and raised on his parent's homestead near Eskridge, Kansas. He worked as a stockman, ferrier, and musician. During the first world war, he trained ferriers at nearby Fort Riley. This recording was made in Paxico, Kansas, on November 10, 1982, by Olga Saffry, and Gaye Badeker.
